A Word From the Director

This month the Center is reexamining the impact of family involvement on the lives of youth in care within the juvenile justice system. In June, the Center—in collaboration with family members and NDTAC team members Trina Osher and Barbara Huff—developed several new resources on the topic of family involvement, including a Technical Issue Brief and a Spotlight article, which together explore current research and provide strategies to increase and improve the participation of family members in the lives of their children while in care.

NDTAC is pleased to offer the latest resource dedicated to increasing family involvement for youth in care: Working With Families of Children in Juvenile Justice and Corrections Systems: A Guide for Education Program Leaders, Principals, and Building Administrators. » more
